Follow these instructions to get the cheat.
At the start of the game collect the bonus life at the top of the fountain. Press Start to pause the game, then resume the game.
When you resume the game the bonus life reappears, collect it and do again and again an unlimited number of times.
Do this any time during the game press triangle, X, triangle, square, square, circle
Get 99 lives
